How it all began...

Unveiling our formation

Often a sincere believer wonders - When would I fully know the meaning of what I read from the Bible? Will I ever be able to rightly interpret the purpose of God through the scriptures? Is there any servant of God that could lead me to the truth? This was in the heart of a young mother as well who walked with that burden every day. This soon became their daily discussions at home and as a family, they started taking steps in order to know the real purpose of why we are kept on this earth by the Father. However, the Heavenly Father, out of His mercy, understanding their deep desire and knowing that there wouldn’t be any other eligible that could take the kingdom further, revealed Himself to them and as one unit, they humbly submitted to the voice of God.

The shoot of it first sprung out in October 2010, when a few thirsty souls who searched for something that could fill them completely, gathered and began a “ladies meeting”. As the meetings continued week after week, they were strengthened by the scriptures that were taught and the result of it surged from house to house, not only changing the women but their families too. Days and months passed by, and the Lord added to the gathering those that came with a seeking heart to fulfil the plan of God.

Even though we fully functioned as a church with profound teachings and strict instructions until then, in March 2014, we collectively took the step of recognizing ourselves under the name WORD OF GOD CHURCH with the intention and aim of purely studying the scriptures and directing every aspect within the church through the lens of God.
